Something old, something new

The old-world, gothic lines of University Chapel set off a modern sculpture, Song of the Vowels.
(The Chapel is a popular place for Princeton alumni to marry. But only students, alumni, current faculty and staff, or children of any of the above, can marry there. Oh Ivy towers.)

Lots of lovely things in this photo, the beautiful chapel, the lovely, tender green of spring and a pretty nice sculpture. Modern and old usually go well together.

cieldequimper -- thanks so much! Spring was in the air :) but already disappearing sigh.

Chrissy - Thank you! It's not even that old (almost 100 yrs) - just that Princeton is crazy about their gothic architecture.

Valladolid -- thank you Vallodolid! Thanks for dropping by!
