Albert Einstein's house

One of the most common questions I get is: "Where is Einstein's house?" So here it is. (Not the best photo, but I felt sheepish jostling with a group out front - already taking photos.) Einstein lived here from 1936 until his death in 1955. It's still a private residence. I hear the current owner dresses as Einstein for Halloween. :)

Blush, I didn't know. It's a lovely house and now you know what your special assignment will be for Halloween! ;-)

Adele - thanks! I sort of feel for the owner, getting photographed all the time, but seems he has some fun with it at least once a year :)

cieldequimper - it's interestingly, a modest house for the area (I guess great thinkers don't need mansions :) - and lol, I *do* have my Halloween assignment cut out!

Well, how about that! I didn't know that Einstein lived in Princeton. Really funny about Halloween. PS. I like your picture better than the one in Wikipedia.

Another interesting tidbit LuLu! Just wondering... are there always folks taking photos of the house?

I know very little about physics but you would have to have had your head in the sand not to know about Einstein. Its a nice looking house amongst beautiful mature trees.

Vallodolid - haha, that would be terrific!

PerthDailyPhoto - I have to admit, I really want to catch a glimpse of the guy dressed as Einstein, odd as it may seem (and it is admittedly, well, quirky at least :)!

Catherine - hope you had a nice break! I'm guessing the current residents do put up with a lot of people photographing the house - everytime I go by, someone is out there snapping away! :)

Paul - I love those towering old trees too. It is actually a modest house for the area - great minds do not need to be in mcmansions :)
