Around town

From 2 weeks ago, an autumn day with touches of red (thanks to this dapper gentleman for posing!)...

...And gold. Thank you for your kind comments yesterday. Nature is devastating but also beautiful. My heart goes out to those affected by the hurricane. Please stay safe wherever you are.

I'm glad you're doing okay.

This is a fabulous selection of photos, not least due to our dapper guy.

I am green with envy. Those colours and hey, after all these years I still don't ask people to pose for me.

Really beautiful shots Lulu! You're brave, I've actually never asked a kind citizen (aka stranger) to pose for me, as many times as I've wanted to... have a wonderful and safe weekend :)

I love the fall colors!

This brings back great memories for me. From 2009 to 2011 I lived about 25 or 30 minutes away in Newtown, Pa. I used to love walking around Princeton. I even recognize Witherspoon St were the guy is standing in front of the Italian restaurant. :-)

Oh, Lulu, a nice selection of crisp, colorful photographs. So glad you are back. The 'dapper' gentleman looks well pleased to pose for you. Great! (Glad you got that link okay. Amazing how I heard the word 'Princeton' and I came to attention. He seems to know what he is talking about.)

Petrea - thank you! I couldn't resist a photo of the dapper fellow, not with an outfit like that:) (Also, mentioned at your blog, but Congratulations on your good news!)

cieldequimper - thanks! The colors unexpectedly peaked the day before my vacation...ran around madly taking shots:) (I'm naturally shy & felt shy asking this fellow for a photo, luckily he was nice about it:)

Andy - I loved his choice of outfit too. I wish I had half a sense of style.

a.s.m. - thanks! Alas, many colors are gone now, but they are lovely at their peak:)

Duncan - thank you! Autumn is such a beautiful time of year!

Peter - thank you! Autumn colors are great, aren't they? So cool you've seen the Princeton Tigers play! Thank you for dropping by.

Angelika - thank you! Autumn's a lovely season - hope you get more colors where you are!

PerthDailyPhoto - thanks! I'm a little sorry to say goodbye to summer, but autumn makes it less painful:)

Catherine - thanks! I'm shy by nature, but luckily this fellow was very nice about letting me take his photo:) Enjoy a safe weekend!

William - thanks so much! Love autumn colors:)

James - thanks! That's so funny and cool you know Princeton - great eye, this fellow was indeed on Witherspoon St, outside La Mezzaluna restaurant!

LOLfromPasa - thanks so much! I hope you're enjoying your current wee break and thanks so much for the link! (Mentioned on your blog, but Mr. L knows the fellow you mention - big environmental science professor. Amazing you brought it to my attention!:)

Randy - thank you! I love the colors this time of year:)
