You had me going too! I thought this would be one of your super 'postcard' shots. The link is worth a read and quite amusing. Beautiful photograph, Lulu.
cieldequimper - haha, thank you, and oh how lovely that would be, if it really were England! (I'm not-so-secretly hoping for a last minute airline deal this holiday:)
EG - they're decking out all our tiny 'downtown' - we just need a winter wonderland snowfall now!
Red Nomad OZ - we could use some downunder summer warmth! I'm not exactly an extra-cold winter kind of person:)
PerthDailyPhoto - I know what you mean, I lived in a neighborhood once where every house competed to see who could go most overboard - even the electric company had to brace themselves for that - oy!:)
LOLfromPasa - thank you and very happy the link provided some fun value!:) Would that this were actually England! I mentioned above for Ciel, we're searching for last-minute ticket deals and keeping our fingers (and toes) crossed!
Una buena foto, y con una luz suave y agradable. Un saludo, Ángel Nota: el edificio parece que es la referencia de la foto, con lo cual debería tener mas importancia en la imagen. El edificio y la calle se disputan el protagonismo del primer plano.

Oh gosh, from the thumbnail I thought you had sneaked off to England! This is lovely and so unexpected!
Red and green looks very festive on the Lower Pyne Building.
The light looks more like early morning light downunder! I guess that's the difference between summer and winter!!
Very tastefully done, I really don't like it when street decs go overboard. I agree with Ciel, it looks like a touch of jolly old England Lulu!

Yup, snow would be perfect!
it's a gorgeous building! tasteful decorations!
That is a beautiful building!
a.s.m. - thanks! I was actually going to write on the street (a cool old Indian trail), but I'll save it for a less shoot-and-run shot:)
cieldequimper - still hoping for a white Christmas!:)
Tanya - thanks! It's a funky old pile in town:)
William - thank you! It's a bit more England than Princeton, but a nice part of downtown.
Looks like a typical 19th C place from Cheshire here in NW England ;-)
Gorgeous house and very nice shot!
Looks like an Alsacian house!
It blows my mind that you get to just pass by these places on the way to appointments! Also, God Went to Princeton. Love it! :)
Excellent shot! I tried and failed a few times to get a good shot of this building. I was there at the wrong time of day.
Oh, could be a corner of Olde Englande - well, nearly!
I am always impressed by the lovely variety of your shots.
Reminds me of the typical architecture of Brittany in France.
