Lunchtime yesterday: I wonder how these intrepid golfers could see? (On a random note: my mind wandered back to a memorable school lecture titled The Killer London Fog of 1952.)
Buena foto, los días de niebla son muy interesantes para hacer fotografía. El único reparo sería que tendrías que procesarla un poco mas, sobre todo para sacar un poco mas los árboles. Un saludo, Ángel
it IS thick as pea soup...haha i haven't heard that saying in a long time! my mom used to always say that...i'm going to have to lay that one on my kids one day :D beautiful photo! have a great week :)
The fog weighed heavily yesterday morning in Washington, DC also Lulu, I took similar photos!! It's so moody and beautiful really... but you're right, how can one golf in it? ;)
Hooray!!!! I am sure you know that I would love this photograph. Fun to see a golf course in your area. To me there is definitely an American feel to it. Lovely shot.
Agradezco mucho tus comentarios.
cieldequimper - they had better eyesight than me, for sure! (Even the real pea soup I had wasn't this thick:)
Andy - I can believe it, talk about dedication!
Babzy - I don't think I've ever seen it this thick before:)
Duncan - thanks & I don't know how they did it, I could barely see my camera screen:)
a.s.m. - thank you & wish I didn't have such basic software (Picasa) - one day I'll get a 'real' photo editing program:) (Also, I don't mind at all and hope to improve my photography - it's very helpful to hear constructive criticism!)
Paul - how amazing you recall the pea fog, it was such a memorable thing for me to learn!
EG - I can't 'see' how else they could've done it, haha!
Tanya - thanks! So sweet your mom used that phrase - you'll have to use it on your kids and see what they say!:) Have a great week too!
Catherine - how amazing DC got such thick fog too, it was a nicely moody atmosphere but, yes, very un-golfy:)
Halcyon - I love the ambiance too, but yes, driving in thick fog is truly un-fun!
LOLfromPasa - I figured you might enjoy a glimpse of dedicated golfers!:) I marveled at their abilities - I could barely see beyond the next building, haha!
hamilton - I get the feeling that would sell like hotcakes!
William - I've never seen fog like this at noon, though seems everyone's been getting fog recently!

I suppose they saw just far enough... I love your title!!!
If there is no snow on the ground the golfers will be there.

Lovely photo! I imagine they golfed with difficulty.

Very foggy! I recall the pea fog as a young boy when I stayed with my mothers family back a long time past.
The ball would need a GPS system of some sort to find the hole in this fog. ;))

I like the ambiance, although fog is no fun to drive in.

just get yourself some fluorescent coloured golf balls and you are good to go!
Good shot!
We had fog moving in last evening, but not quite like that...

I'm with EG - GPS for sure! Beautiful photo, Lulu!
Wow that's incredible Lulu, what is it that causes such a dense fog these days?
I was in Munich over the weekend and had the most delicious pea and mint soup... :-)
So evocative.
Last week it was very foggy here too!
But I didn't have time to take a pic or two!
Thanks for yours. Nicely done!
