Postcard from London: Bossa nova in Soho

I thought I'd be in Princeton by now, but I was wrong. This was Saturday night with Rosalia De Souza - Rome-trained, Brazilian bossa nova songstress (YouTube clips of her smooth sound here and here).

My tiny point-and-shoot can't capture indoor, low-light images, but I tried. Sorry about the quality!

I love the Bossa Nova. She is excellent.

Love you postcards from Norway. Different sculptures to be sure.

Your reflective postcard from England was very pretty. MB

Lulu, the quality of pictures is fantastic! You captured this singer so wonderfully. And I love these low-light images a lot. That is what makes them so mysterious and so captivating. And I am listening right now to this singer. She is great!

The slightly grainy effect captures the atmosphere perfectly, great job!

Agree, grain is good here. Loved it, however I was a bit concerned for her safety in the youtube clip, glad she had a moisturising pad though.

En mi opinión me parece una serie muy buena, sabemos de la
dificultad de este tipo de fotografía, creo la calidad a veces se
puede sacrificar y esta de sobra justificada. Magnifica serie!!!
Un saludo, Ángel

Nothing to be sorry for in theses photos. The light captures the atmosphere of the event.

I know how you feel with the frustrations of a point and shoot in low light situations!

They are good shots. They really do capture the essence of the venue, and the personality of Rosalia.
