Great blue heron

My point-and-shoot is too limited for wildlife, really, but I can't say no to a big bird. It soon caught a delectable frog.

Bien captada la escena, quizá le falta
Un poco de luz al pájaro, pero muy
Bien es buena fotografía.

What a beautiful bird! I've always wanted to get a shot of one up close like this, but they always fly away before I can... well done Lulu!

It is not the camera, it is the photographer. Nice. I see herons much more often in Naples than in Hartford, so I am looking forward to seeing them soon.

Your photo is wonderful. I clicked on it to see it larger and to check out all of those bubbles. Wow! I can remember learning about great blue herons in the sixth grade. Thanks for jogging my memory!
