In bloom

Early summer rhododendrons exploded everywhere, then seemed to vanish overnight.

True, the mlossoms don't last long in hot weather. But when they are in bloom - WOW!

PerthDailyPhoto - thank you! I called them azaleas too, then my neighbor corrected me (then I looked it up - rhododendrons are a type of azalea and/or vice versa it seems!:)
