August theme day: Numbers (How now brown cow)

Little ones at organic Cherry Grove Farm

Update: Wasn't sure at first, but minds greater than mine convinced me that #216 above, posted yesterday, should be today's August theme day submission (thank you Versailles Daily Photo, Today Around Coventry Daily Photo and Around Roanoke!), so here it is (again - sorry & hope I avoid the blogging police!). To mix it up, at left was my other idea, but I'm glad wiser minds prevailed!

~The CDP portal is still out; see theme day participants here.~

Oh isn't that just so sweet?! It would have been a perfect photo for August Theme Day! Love your Shakespearian title!

So this is where the expression 'cow eyes' comes from..they are so pretty, the cheeses sound good too.

My favourite!!!!! And, it is perfect for CDP Theme Day. (And, yours is better than my idea using sheep)...ah I guess it is true that 'great minds think alike'..ha ha! (You will see what I mean tomorrow.)

There is a temporary CDP running on Facebook until the real thing is fixed. So if you are on Facebook join the group (City Daily Photo)...and Lulu, you post this photo.

cieldequimper - they're such sweet creatures at that age, aren't they? like your idea of making it a theme day photo, perhaps I'll have to submit it (even if it went up before August, so a bit of cheat! :)

PerthDailyPhoto - haha, someone must have been staring into eyes just like this when they coined that term!

Tanya - that was pretty much my reaction when I saw them! Oh, you're the 2nd one whose mentioned using this for theme day, I'll just have to consider it now! :)

LOLfromPasa - oh, thank you so much for supplying the link!! (I'm a technology luddite for not having Facebook :) Now I can't wait to see which theme day photo you'll use! You're the 3rd person to mention using this for theme day, so I suppose I'll just have to do it now! :)

Lol, no police! :-)

And hey, I have a VDP FB page but no profile so it isn't much use since I can't interact with other FB users! :-)

I'm stuck somewhere between 1999 and 2000! :-)

Oh, these guys are cute! The cheese sounds wonderful, too!

LOL, thanks for that info - I'm going to use it too. Do you have to wait til after the post has published, before you put it on the pages? (Does that make sense???)

cieldequimper - thank you, that makes me feel a bit less like a caveman, haha! (Surely, there's someone out there besides me not yet on FB? Maybe not :)

Adele - I do love the cheese from this place, all courtesy of these cuties' mommies :) (Oops, I updated this post for theme day and apparently left out the part about the tasty cheese! :)

Well I have to say I just love those clocks too. But what time is it?!

Yes, 216 is perfect - you can't beat cute animals sporting numbers for the theme! Love the composition! Really like the clocks too - very unique.

ah well, i can look at this over and over again, it's just that cute! and actually your clock display is pretty cool!

Well done, Lulu. Your public has spoken and you listened :). Great choice.

Adele...I don't know. I am going to try submitting mine in a mo (or should I say 'moo') and see what happens.

cieldequimper - I've been asking myself the same question, haha! :)

Cathy - thanks so much! Yes, it's hard to resist baby animals :) Thanks so much for dropping by!

Tanya - thank you! I'm glad I gave over to popular vote and went with 216! :)

LOLfromPasa - thank you for the insight & helping my theme day decision along! It pays to listen to advice from good photo bloggers :) (Oh, I loved your sheep idea, a wonderful theme pick!!)

Mo - lol, she might well be! (though I think this farm uses just dairy cattle now)
