What's up, tiger lily?

Tiger lilies - one of several species known by this common name - add a bright touch. (These may be L. lancifolium). I'll miss seeing outdoor flowers when cold weather arrives.

The summer here is having one last fling but winter must be just around the corner. The colour of these lilies is certainly hot!

Surely you still have three months of autumn before winter sets in Lulu. When we get over this patch of wintery weather we're having right now I'm so looking forward to spring 'proper'!! The markings on your Tiger Lily and the vibrant colour are beautiful..we have an Australian fashion brand called Tiger Lily, it's mainly swimwear, the fabrics are a bit like this flower..exotic.

So pretty! Luckily, you'll have them for just a bit longer!

John - the same thing here too, we flirted with autumn for a week, but summer suddenly came rushing back!

PerthDailyPhoto - I've heard the brand! Ooh, you're making me want to go look it up now :) I do hope we've a long autumn as it's a lovely season and the winters here are pretty unfun!

asm - thank you! The public park where I took this is a very peaceful place :)

LOLfromPasa - thank you! I can't remember if I've ever seen these in the UK :)

Emille - thanks! Thank you for dropping by.

Adele - I hope so too, nothing like outdoor blooms to brighten up a walk :)
