Weekend explorations turned bust

{19th century American facade and street lamp, New York Metropolitan Museum of Art}

Somehow, I forgot my camera during my New York weekend (arg) and my phone photos were a bust. To make up for it, here are stragglers from prior NY weekends - hopefully I'll get it together next time!

And 16th century German armor, Met Museum (kids love this one).

yes, the knights are neat, as is the fountain... but I love the shadows!

Buena foto con la proyección de sombras sobre la fachada del edificio, el tener New York el fin de semana es una suerte para fotografiar tantas cosas que la ciudad ofrece,
gente…calles…edificios…carteles…tráfico…
Un saludo: Angel

Know the feeling, Lulu. I always have my camera but sometimes forget the battery. Great collection of photos to the rescue. Well done to have a reserve. (Good tip!)

Hamilton - thank you! I'm glad I didn't delete my other weekend photos:)

Catherine - thanks so much, yes it's painful isn't it? Must be old age causing my 'senior moments' :)

Tanya - my heart sank when I realized, thanks for not minding these stragglers!

a.s.m. - thanks so much! I'm lucky to be close to New York and its richness (and glad I still had these photos in my archives:)

LOLfromPasa - thanks! I need to learn a lesson from this one - start shoring up the reserves! Hope you're enjoying a break.

PerthDailyPhoto - heehee, I literally saw kids lighting up when they entered the Armor Hall (the same ones whose spirits were flagging in the American Wing:)

You did a nice job with these "stragglers" of yours! :) Again, I am left jealous of your daily life! :)

I love the light in the first shot. One of these days I will have to visit NYC.
