November theme day: Water's edge

This month's theme day was a challenge. Hurricane Sandy devastated many areas. After travel delays, I arrived home a few hours ago to a town with almost no power...but am one of the lucky ones. Meantime, until I've new photos, here's a Waikiki Beach, Honolulu sunset from a few days ago. I hope to visit your blogs soon, and that you're well and safe!

Fabulous x 2 = (1) You're back, and (2)What a lovely photo. Goodness, were you in Hawaii when they had that Tsunami warning? A learned professor from Princeton has been on the news this morning explaining the technical side of 'Sandy'. Of course, I thought of you because he was from Princeton! Glad your back safe and lucky you to have been visiting Honolulu, Lulu :). (Saw your post on my blog just.)

Huge welcome back Lulu, not the one you were hoping for I bet. Such a dreadful time and a long clean up ahead. Nothing to be done when Mother Nature lets loose. You've come back with a beauty of a shot for us here, take care and time to settle home.

Thanks so much everyone for your kind comments and for dropping by! It is a welcome sight to "see" you again!

@LOLfromPasa - left comment at your blog, but yes, we were in Hawaii when the tsunami warning sounded, though luckily no devastation! I will need to find the Princeton professor explaining Sandy's technical side - it's been a more "water-themed" week than I ever imagined!

Hurricane Sandy or a Hawaiian tsunami? My goodness! From one frying pan to another. . .I hope you stay lucky!

This is a truly gorgeous shot, great response to the theme challenge. Makes me long to be there.

You are lucky to be living a fair distance from the ocean, as is Hartford. The shoreline towns in NJ, NY and CT got clobbered.
