Remembering one of many

The Graduate College (tower visible in yesterday's mist) was home to "father of computer science," Alan Turing, while he earned his PhD at Princeton University. Turing had a crucial role Britain's WWII codebreaking activities.

Excelente foto y un bello paisaje, con el añadido de la niebla dando una suavidad al paisaje. Un saludo, Ángel

@all - thanks so much! Turing was overlooked (and not well-treated) in his lifetime, but left a lasting legacy!

I like the fog and lighting here. Well done.

Turing was very badly treated in his lifetime, and almost ignored in his death. Yet, he was a brilliant mind. The misty shot is very symbolic.

I spotted your photo this morning and have been looking forward all day to letting you know how much I love it. It has an English feel to it and is just beautiful. Perfect for today!

Thanks again for your kind comments!

LOLfromPasa and Petrea, Mr. L always thought this corner of Princeton looked like England!:)

hamilton - so sadly true - I mentioned in my earlier comment. He was a genius & left such a legacy.

Fog makes for some wonderful photographs.

"Beauty" :-) And I'd like to think society has come a long way since that time. What an appalling way to treat a human being...

Turing was little known years ago but he has been rightly recognised these last few years. I love this picture.
