Morning stroll

After days of rain, sunlight felt thrilling! Also, apologies for the top of the tree being cut off, it was the best I could do as my arms kept being tugged by a wiggly dog (below - her name is Kona, a 6-year-old English Springer Spaniel we recently adopted from a rescue group...she's been wiggling ever since:).

Kona! She's lovely. I think she's very happy to be with you.

So you aren't the only one to have enjoyed the sunlight then!

I imagine it's nice not to have a wet dog for a change!

Bonjour Kona !

What a funny shaped tree! I sometimes try taking photos with one hand while holding my daughter in the other arm - also quite tricky!

Kona is just beautiful, Jude.
I am so glad that she has found a wonderful home.

Buena foto a pesar de que las sombras
han quedado muy negras. En mi opinión
que el árbol quede cortado no tiene
tanta importancia como el de las
mencionadas sombras.
(detrás de las sombras siempre hay algo)

Kona is wonderful Lulu, how lucky she is to be rescued by Mr L and yourself..I foresee many a lovely squiggly walk through this park.

Lulu, you don't have to show the whole tree. Your tree looks excellent and touching because the sun tries to find its way through this big and dense tree. Very beautiful picture!

Kona is a such beautiful girl! I am so happy for her that she found a home. She is a very lucky girl. And I am glad that she is six years old. For older dogs more difficult to find a home. I adapted my dog Tasha when she was also six years old. Right now she is ten.

We with Tasha sending our greetings to Kona and our love:)))))

How wonderful to add such a happy pretty dog into your home and sharing her with us! I can imagine you snapping both shots with Kona moving about all around you... that's love :)

Who's a good dog? You are!

Thanks for all your kind words (both re: photo & dog)! Kaya, how sweet to hear that about Tasha - both myself and Kona are saying/barking hello back!!

I am so jealous. LOVE your new English Springer Spaniel. She looks like a liver and white dog, unless that is a quirk of the lighting. I had a black and white English Springer Spaniel for seventeen years. Toby. I sure miss that dog! (But, these days a dog doesn't work with my life style.)

Nice light.

You forgot the wiggly tree!

This just made me wiggle in delight. So happy for Kona! Bless you.

Thanks so much - Jack, what a sweet story. Toby must've been a wonderful companion and very much missed.
