City Hall, New York City: Seat of power, place of movie scenes. Something I love about Princeton, that it is a small town yet part of the New York metropolitan area.
So much history, I must have missed the political shooting weird story that one, and a nice looking building too. Yes you do seem to have the best of both worlds.
cieldequimper - yes, can never get enough of NYC! I hope you can make the "pond hop" soon enough and explore, it changes all the time (as I imagine Paris does too! :)
Paul - yes the 2003 political shooting in City Hall was extremely strange. I always enjoyed the building too, and coming to appreciate that small town living still has its advantages :)
You have the best of both worlds .... It would be wonderful to spend a day on 5th Avenue .... Checking out the fashion but then close enough to return home to normality.

Yup so many movies! It really is such a fabulous city..love the sepia tones you've used here Lulu, great image!
PerthDailyPhoto - thank you so much! NY is such fun and a bit too addictive for this city-girl-now-living-in-the-country!
The perfect blend of country and city. Love your photo!
Adele - thanks so much! The country/city blend is a Princeton perk, for sure :)

I love what you did with this shot!
Dianne - ah, such a great way to think of it! The extremes of 5th Ave shopping, then returning to normal life again in semi-rural town, love that! :)
Petrea - thanks so much! Was trying to make a timeless building seem especially so :)
I enjoy the contrast of living in the country but very close to a city too. I just wish I got into the city as often as you appear to do.
