Six days of downpours (and unusual work deadlines) foiled my plans for fresh, new Princeton snaps. So I'll cheat and offer my final UK weekend instead, at the 1400s
Knole House - where Medusa greets visitors and portraits' eyes follow you. (The royals, the Beatles, and
Vita Sackville-West have links here too.)

Knole house, I've bookmarked
this looks like my kind of place!
Thanks for your kind words on my post! What a beautiful shot of, undoubtedly, a very beautiful house!..
Greetings from Tel Aviv!
You're taking ma back in time again. I visited Knole in 1982 I believe and have very fond memories of it though not of Medusa or of following eyes... Very cool shot!
Vita was quite a lady, as her son Nigel's tasty book detailed!

wow excellent pic ! :)
Entirely allowed provided you provide such high quality as this, a great pic and story too.
Your angle is very effective, could be your own arm and hand holding the head!!
Ouch!
Muy bien tomada esta fotografía, me gusta.
El fondo es muy interesante con ese color añil
lleno de desconchados por el tiempo.
Saludos, Ángel
-Bienvenida de nuevo.-
Fabulous composition. That wall is such a terrific backgroung. Love it.
Such striking photos! Very creative!
It's quite a sculpture!
I am excited about your fresh and new Princeton snaps.
This picture is so creative and wonderful that I can't find right words to express what I feel about it.
Outstanding image!
Really neat image, Jude!
We've had the rain too, and it's been so humid.
Wishing you a wonderful day.
Awesome shot! I haven't been to Knole House but it sounds like I'd love it so I've bookmarked it for the future! - Tasha xxx
Poor Medusa!
Love the distressed wall.
Great image!
One day I might visit the place.
Just look at the colour of those walls, brilliant.
Welcome back Lulu! I love this shot - the perspective and composition are fantastic... am afraid I'd have to pass on the Knole House, it would give me and boys nightmares! ;)
This is a super composition, Lulu.
Oh goodness, that sounds absolutely creepy!
