After the storm

Raindrops linger about this mystery bloom (my botanical knowledge is woeful), but all is calm once more.

I'm sure this particular flower enjoyed all the rainfall, certainly looks very bright and cheerful. A real splash of colour!

The weather has certainly gone mad. The calm after the storm has its rewards in lovely shots like this. Great shot, Lulu.

We also had a big storm yesterday. It was pouring! Some of our plants weren't this lucky.

So pretty! Love the little droplets and inner petals that seem to be pointing and dancing :) I believe it's a zinnia...

Oh this looks so familiar Lulu..I'm only guessing but I think it may be a Dahlia. Gorgeous colour..

This mystery bloom is very lovely! My botanical knowledge is awful.

It's just a gorgeous flower among beautiful green leaves. I love this picture very, very much!

I think it's a zinnia, Jude, and it sure is a beautiful one!

It is called a "pink flower." You're welcome.

(Love the beaded drops.)

This is so beautiful - great colours! I love your calling it "mystery bloom" - I always call mine "wild flower", as my botanical knowledge is equally woeful ;-)
