Hydrangeas are everywhere, like colorful clouds.

Not at all like the clouds here over Leeds right now, they are one continuous band of dark grey and yes its raining, again.

Bliss!! I get so envious when I see the size the hydrangea bushes grow to in cooler climes, we can grow them here, but it's hard work because of the extreme heat in summer. J'adore these lilac clouds, thanks Lulu.

Aren't they just perfection! They're so pretty and abundant that I'm very close to stopping my car and asking one generous homeowner if I could clip just a few ;) ... Thank you for the photo + Bon Week-end!

Adele - thank you! Summer has definitely arrived with a vengeance, 100F tomorrow!

Cieldequimper - thank you, I think maybe I'm using cloud imagery to trick myself into thinking it's cooler than it is! :)

Paul - ack, that's something we have forecasted for next week! Sigh, it's been a very rainy season indeed.

PerthDailyPhoto - thanks! It would be ethereal and beautiful to see hydrangeas in Australia! Our summer heat is at least humid, good for flowers (though not people:).

Catherine - thank you! I used to ask friendly homeowners the same & it was such a nice way to enjoy neighbors' blooms. Have a great weekend!

EG CameraGirl - I'm surprised these flower despite our horribly hot summers. I guess our winter climate is at least more temperate :)

We have clouds and hydrangeas - both are rather wet today.

Rath - I hear there's no end to the rain there, it's been such a bad season this year!
