Cheesy love

Happy Valentine's at the cheesemongers! Legend has it that French milkmaids during the Hundred Years War made heart-shaped Coeur de Bray ("farmstead cheese with a bloomy rind and mushroom aroma") to express their love to English soldiers stationed in Normandy. Apologies for the dark indoor photo!

These will get me any time! My husband says I'd eat anything with cheese. Which is mostly true.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Brilliant Lulu, very different from chocs an flowers...also many people would say the whole idea of Valentine day is a wee bit cheesy haha!

Good looking cheeses here. I can be satisfied with just Cheddar.
