Tempting fate

OK, not a great shot I admit, but hard to resist a moment that made me both smile and gasp. (I don't have a DSLR, but if I did I don't think I'd dangle it in front of the baby!)

Ha! How do you know this isn't this little tyke's camera of choice? A born photographer if I ever saw one. :-)

I hope he also took a picture of you. :)

I hope it was switched on and the lens cover was off, it would have made a great self portrait!

Oh my! Hope s/he wasn't drooling on the lens ;) ... on a similar note, my son almost sat on my camera yesterday. So tough to keep our equipment safe enough from curious little hands...

Lulu, what surprised me a lot that you don't have a DSLR. Are you shooting with a film camera?

It's a very expensive toy he is playing. And his parents are so careless. That is what came on my mind first and then I smiled and thought that he might be one of greatest photographers of our time.

I don't have a DSLR either ( except for work). I think it may be his first selfie.

Thank you! Kaya - I usually use a small Canon point-and-shoot, I think it's a Powershot 1200 or 1300 (and occasionally a larger Panasonic Lumix point-and-shoot that belongs to my partner, if I can "steal" it from him:). I would love to invest in a DSLR at some point!

What a fun capture Lulu, i can just imagine what will be visible through the lens the next time the camera is used..special effects :))

Hmmmm. I wonder if after cleaning the lens the owner allows baby to play with the camera again.
