Winter morning

Back from (work) travels and the polar vortex is loosening its grip, yay! Even the geese are flying again (specks in 1st photo). A cross country skier (2nd photo) enjoyed the sunrise with me.

Same temperatures here. It's nice to get out without the hands going numb.

SOOOOO loving that winter cold ... we're suffering through day after punishing day of 40+C degree days in a killer summer heatwave, so I could use me some cold right now! Have a great day!!

LOve the phrase 'polar vortex', it needs to be said in a deep voice. A beautiful reflection too. Thanks for the comment too, I don't know how it has self righted.

A beautiful, if not frigid sunrise. I'm glad it has warmed up for a bit.

My heart sings when I see a photo like the top one. Really special, Lulu. Cross country skiing looks the answer to getting from A to B :).

Lovely winter images. (They looks a bit like my county now)

Winter and snow allows for a variety of sports.

Lulu, these pictures are so beautiful. I like the sunny path on the ice. I would love to walk on it but not sure that ice looks very strong.

If the gees are flying again it means probably that the spring will come soon.

Excellent photography!

Great shots! The reflections in the top photo are amazing and I love the human element in the bottom one. I'm glad that I don't have to pick a favorite.
