cieldequimper - thanks! I'm (happily) surprised they were blooming so late:)
a.s.m. - thanks! I was very surprised but thrilled to see them!
PerthDailyPhoto - thank you! I love roses too and so happy to see surprise autumn blooms (it's easy to feel happy around roses...or maybe I'm just easy to please:)
Randy - thanks! They smelled delicate but wonderful, the way roses do:)
LOLfromPasa - thank you! How lucky you are to have roses blooming this time of year. I'm sure they're beautiful! (Would love to see them:). I love them as well.
Bravely colourful... they're a hopeful sight as winter approaches, although I always like roses best in their "proper" season when they grow in their thousands.

the proverbial 'last roses' of the season. Lovely and dripping with meaning in your pics.

Vivid colours!
Now that is incredible!
Las rosas siempre son hermosas, sorprende verlas en esta época del año.
Un saludo, Ángel

Beautiful!
I'd never be able to take care of any kind of flowers or plants, aside from maybe a cactus. I just don't have green thumbs...
