This ought to be an image of my declining brain - until yesterday, I forgot June started today! But a fragile, falling-apart cobweb seems a more palatable image:)
Aren't spider webs the most gorgeous and intricate of structures. I love to watch them at work. I love your lateral thinking in choosing this breaking-apart web.
Great shot Lulu,... so much detail in this cobweb! Mine never seem to turn out so beautifully. p.s. So you DO shoot and work on Saturdays ;)... I almost missed this post completely!

A wonderful close up of nature.
Great entry and shot!
HAhaha! It was hard to ignore the official start of winter downunder - rain, and lots of it!! Love (read: am jealous of) your shot!!
Great!
A wonderful image and idea, Lulu. The imperfection of the web - just perfect.
great photo and choice for theme day
What a clever choice! Well done.
Just wonderful !
An example of decaying doesn't need a long time....
another clever interpretation
Sometimes a last resort reaps benefits. Fine example here.
Great photo and so absolutely perfect for theme day. I wonder if webs are ever renovated. :)
LOL! but still an appropriate entry, me think :)
It's a pretty brilliant take on the theme though!
Lulu, you are incredible person!!! Picture is a WOW picture!!! It's my biggest dream to take picture of a web and maybe a spider.
Wish you a very good Saturday!!!
A splendid variation on the theme!
Excellent theme day shot.
Haha! That looks a little like the last scarf I tried to knit... Brilliant take on the theme here Lulu.
Beautiful interpretation of the theme!
Very intricate, in a very decaying kind of way! Happy June!
Amazing choice, great picture!
Fabulous closeup of the web. Pity the poor spider after all that work.
What a creative approach to decay, and I love your capture of the web...

Great interpretation of the theme and pretty photo to boot.
Reminds me of the WWW...flawed yet still functional...if you can avoid the "holes" in it. Nice shot.
I never thought I'd find a spider web beautiful, but this shot makes it look like lace....

Thank you for your contribution to Theme Day.
Lovely shot and interesting interpretation. I wonder if there is beauty in decay or in our interpretation of it. There sure is abandonment...
Wonderful - I like it a lot!
Very appropriate photo, sadness in decay.
I LOVE this interpretation of our theme. Good one!

A creative treatment of the theme. If even the strong silk of the web is torn, what's left to hold the world together.
Thanks for your comment on St. Louis Daily Photo today.
Striking shot! I love spider webs and this one suits the theme very well.
It is an excellent interpretation of the decay theme.
I seem to always forget that a new month is here. But your image is excellent!
Amazing range from dark to light!
Happy Theme Day. Great entry for the day.
Wonderful creative thinking!
Great shot for the beauty of decay.
Oh, boy, oh, boy, oh, boy. This is perfect. Perfect! Thanks!
Thanks so much everyone! Spiderwebs are hard but such fun to capture:)
Fine contribution to today's Theme Day. Observing nature provides all the metaphors we ever need.
Time flies so it's easy to forget which month we're in. Nice find without the spider. :)
Magnificent and creative image to illustrate this theme!
Lovely capture of the cobweb.
A fine theme day post. I like macro.
Good choice for the theme!
Creative b&w image!
