Manhattan's ABC Carpet & Home is 7 floors of home decor fantasy. Randomly, we ran into one of Mr. L's former London coworkers there (the coworker had relocated to New York). Top left shot by Mr. L.
Looks a place to spend a day, like the look of the food emporium - cochina. Hope it was a happy-chance meeting. Yes I am being deluged with spammers- want to avoid the word entry thingy.
Que buenos espacios producen ciertos edificios en Manhattan, esos grandes contenedores vacíos donde puedes darle la utilidad que quieras, todo encaja y queda bien, consecuencia directa de una buena arquitectura. Buenas fotos. Un saludo, Ángel
Oh I have such a weakness for a lovely carpet, when Aimee and I went to Egypt, I bought a carpet there that cost more than the eleven day trip :) then I had break the news to P that there would be 'something' arriving before I got home haha! That's a very interesting last shot Lulu, a plant stand oui?
7 floors, wow! Must have been SO difficult to leave. I love the stitching on the top left carpets (nice photo from Mr. L!) + his serendipitous meeting :)
Lulu, you are such an interesting person. Every time I come to your blog I discover something new. I am not much into carpets but on the second picture carpet has fantastic patterns and I love them a lot.
And the last picture is a real home fantasy!!! I am in love with these lamps!!!!
While I never got the shopping gene, (that went to my sister) I love wandering around home décor stores. Seven floors would be lovely to explore. We have no such stores in this area, but when I go to Annapolis, Ikea is on the itinerary. :)
Vivid color gets my attention every time. I'm not much of a decorator, though. Eclectic furnishings, bold color and comfortable with a lot of personal items throughout....

The shot by Mr L. looks like a work of art! What a huge place!

Always something to find in this store, my wife would happily spend all day in here!
maybe mr. l needs his own photo blog lol...what are those things in the last photo?
Tanya's comment is worth a thought :). Lovely and colorful. The thought of getting lost in a place like that sounds divine. Great shots.
Wonderful colors and structures. Amazing !

To someone who doesn't actually find homewares a fantasy in ANY way, you've actually managed to make them look very appealing!!!! Well done!!!
