Postcards from the road: Philadelphia and Baltimore
Philly from moving train (top) and Baltimore from behind hotel windows (bottom). Work travel/presentations are exciting but oddly tiring...which may explain these crooked shots! :) Hope you've been well.
I like the travel feel! I have a similar shot of Philly somewhere in an old photo album taken on the train ride from Washington, D.C. to Penn station! :-)
Buenas fotos pero en especial la primera la hecha desde el tren, una foto con luces muy bonitas y donde se va viendo la ciudad, los coches en movimiento… Buena imagen. Un saludo, Ángel
Lulu, this is wonderful!!! I wish I would some day visit Baltimore. I am reading right now the book about Zelda Fitzerald and that is how Baltimore came into my life.
You took such outstanding pictures of these two beautiful cities!!! I can't take away my eyes from them. That is how perfect they are!!!!
I love the shot, Jude! I can't believe that first one is a shot from a moving train - make me want to visit Philly at once! Thanks so much for taking me with you, out from the rain here ;-) Have a wonderful day!
So nice to catch a glimpse of your travels Lulu! I love the movement and energy of your photos... the light from the (storm?) clouds is superb! Safe travels :)
Thanks so much everyone! Ciel - how fun that you have the same travel shot in your own collection:) Kaya - you've inspired me to read more of Zelda Fitzgerald's complex life, especially as she was married to a Princetonian!
So good to see you back! The golden hue in the top photo softens the grey and gives it such a lovely tone. You keep giving me incentive to add even more places to my bucket list!

I did not notice them being crooked, which is the sign of an interesting shot!
Welcome back, love the shot from the moving train... beautiful light and sense of movement!

All great shots--but I like the top one best. The sky is incredible!
Gosh well done on the drive by shot Lulu, the light in the opening image does Philly proud.

I like them all! They may be somewhat crooked, but always better of many shots made on purpose!

I admire your zeal in taking and posting shots during a business trip. These are good!

What a great way to see the world ... combining work and your love of capturing the moments. Enjoy your week-end.
Lucky you. I would love to be traveling right now.
Oh I love that top picture, a real "on the road" feel, with that evening light.
That clocktower commands my attention!
